So it has been three months since I last updated my blog! Oops! I’m really sorry it’s taken so long, but I promise I have been working extremely hard to bring you some nice, new books! Today is the first day since January that I haven’t been working on one book project or another, so I’m finally able to catch up on my blog posts!
So where do I start? Well first of all, I’m thrilled to say that I’ve been working on three different book projects recently! The first has been sent to my agent (please hold a good thought!) and I’ll keep you up-to-date on all developments with that…
The second and third projects have been commissioned and should be out next year! Yay!! I can’t say anything about the content at the moment, but I am beyond excited to have been given the opportunity to work on them and hope you’ll enjoy both when they are published. I’ll keep you updated and will share all the information, pre-order links etc when the time comes.
The Little Book of Marilyn is out in the US on 9 July and the UK on 25 July! It seems like a long way away, but it’s really only a matter of months. I am so proud and happy with this book. It’s been really fun to write and there are so many different elements to it, as well as tonnes of beautiful Marilyn photos of course! If you are a blogger or own a Marilyn fan page/club and would like to help publicise the book, please DM me on Twitter or Instagram (@MMWriterGirl). I would really value your help and I’m very happy to do interviews or contribute to posts and articles in any way I can.
Please visit the Running Press website for all pre-order links for The Little Book of Marilyn. They can be found here.
I can’t finish this post without paying tribute to my dear Marilyn friend, Kim Goodwin, who sadly passed away earlier this month. Kim was a wonderful person and a beautiful soul, who loved Marilyn just as much as I do. He was kind enough to provide some photographs for the Before Marilyn book, including the lovely cover you can see here. Kim will be dearly missed by everyone in the Marilyn community, and I will remain eternally grateful for all the help and support he has given to my projects.
I will be back soon with another blog, but for now, thanks so much for your support and if you’d like to keep in touch, please comment here or on my social media. Thank you!
Until next time,
